Number coding suspended from Holy Tuesday to Good Friday —MMDA

Implementation of the Modified Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP) or the number coding scheme will be suspended during the Holy Week.

The suspension, according to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), will be on Holy Tuesday and Holy Wednesday, as well as on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, which are both regular holidays.

"Automatic na lifted ang modified number coding scheme tuwing holidays [modified number coding scheme is automatically lifted during holidays]," the MMDA said on Twitter.

The scheme is being implemented from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. to help ease vehicular traffic during the afternoon rush hour. —KBK, GMA News
