Bomb threat grips Malabon City Hall


Authorities scrambled to evacuate personnel from the Malabon City Hall on Friday morning over alleged bomb threat, according to a report from the National Police Region Police Office (NCRPO).

At 7:06 a.m., the Malabon City Police Station received information from the Malabon Command Center about the supposed bomb threat.

Authorities immediately evacuated all the personnel from the city hall building, and cordoned off the area.

“Likewise, advise SWAT and SECU personnel to proceed at the area to conduct Paneling Operation re: Bomb Threat procedure,” the police report said.

However,  the explosive ordnance disposal team declared the city hall cleared of any hazardous and explosive materials. —LBG, GMA News
