2 children killed after home shot at by suspects going after father
A businessman's two children were killed after two suspects who were going after the father attacked their home inside a gated subdivision in Novaliches, Quezon City.
According to Cedric Castillo's report on "24 Oras", the gunman shot Mitchell Zamora who after getting wounded went inside his house and locked his door.
The suspect then opened fire at the door.
"Then 'yung pinto nu'ng bahay nandu'n pala yung dalawang anak," said Police Lt. Col. Vicente Bumalay, commander of Station Six of the Quezon City Police District.
He said one of the children was dead on arrival at the hospital. The other died at 8:30 p.m. on June 10..
Zamora survived but had to be confined at the intensive care unit.
CCTV footage showed that the suspects after fleeing on a motorcycle transferred to a black sedan, which then passed the subdivision exit while the security guard was apparently calling in the incident.
Police are continuing their investigation on the shooting incident. —NB, GMA News
