LTO issues show-cause orders on drivers, owners of SUVs in hit-and-run incidents

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has issued show-cause orders against the drivers and owners of two SUVs involved in separate hit-and-run incidents in Parañaque City.

According to Glen Juego's report on Super Radyo dzBB, Atty. Clarence Guinto issued the orders on the driver and owner of an SUV with license plate UXO-295 that allegedly hit a street sweeper on Elizalde Avenue corner Aguirre Avenue, Barangay BF Homes, on September 24.

Also given a show-cause order is the owner and driver of the SUV with license plate NCV-4752 that was involved in the alleged hit-and-run of two children in Barangay San Antonio on September 20.

The incident resulted in the death of the three-year-old and injury to the other child. —Sherylin Untalan/NB, GMA News
