UST to hold Paskuhan festivities for the first time in two years

The University of Santo Tomas is set to holds its Paskuhan festivities in real life for the first time since December 2019 before the COVID-19 pandemic hit.

In a statement, the University announced that the event would culminate on December 19, 2022 with the theme "Pananabik, Pagbabalik, Panunumbalik."

Christmas lights around the campus and on the 70-foot tall Paskuhan tree would be switched on on November 29, 2022, Tuesday at 6 p.m.

This will be followed by the in-person Thomasian Christmas feast, called Agape. Thomasians will gather as one family sharing free food.

However, UST will no longer allow outsiders to attend the Paskuhan festivities.

"With God's grace, we will be able to celebrate Christmas as one grateful Thomasian family," the university said on Facebook.

The UST Paskuhan is a month-long series of university-wide Christmas activities, including concerts, lights, and fireworks for the entire Thomasian community at the University of Santo Tomas in Espana Manila. —NB, GMA News
