A fire of still unknown cause gutted around 40 houses in Barangay Tatalon in Quezon on Friday, according to a report on "24 Oras" by Vonne Aquino.
The blaze quickly spread to the houses which were close to each other and made of light materials. The gasoline station nearby was not affected, fire fighters said.
Four persons sustained minor wounds, including resident Randy Carillo who was injured on the head.
"Importante buhay kami," one resident said.
The fire was put under control in the afternoon.—LDF, GMA Integrated News
