Some 179,508 believers visited and participated in processions at the Quiapo Church on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday.
According to numbers provided by the Quiapo Church, 57,005 visited the church on Maundy Thursday (from 6 a.m. on April 6, 2023 to 1 a.m. on April 7, 2023).
Some 26,350 devotees also took part in the motorcade and parade of the Black Nazarene which started at 11:13 p.m. on Thursday.
The motorcade-parade finally ended at 12:31 a.m. on Friday, when the number of participants swelled to 38,000.
Meanwhile, visitors to the church on Good Friday (April 7, 2023 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.) totaled 15,630.
On Easter Sunday (April 9, 2023 from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m.), there were 42,523 visitors to the Quiapo Church. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
