An initial police investigation shows that some of the police personnel were on duty when the attack happened.
No one was reported injured in the incident, but some parts of the office were damaged, particularly the staircase outside of it.
Peñones said they already have three persons-of-interest.
The NPD said the possible motives of the suspects could be retaliation from some arrested criminals during a series of operations against illegal drugs and high-value drug targets.
An investigation is ongoing, and backtracking efforts are being done to determine the suspects behind the attack. —LBG, GMA Integrated News
