23 NCR roads to be closed for weekend repairs

More than 20 roads in the National Capital Region will be temporarily closed to traffic for scheduled repairs, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said Friday.

A total of 23 roads will be repaired by the Department of Public Works and Highways starting at 11 p.m. on June 9 until 5 a.m., June 13, the MMDA said in an advisory.

The affected roads are the following:

1. C-5 Road (NB), J. Vargas St., to C5-Ortigas Flyover Approach (3rd lane), Pasig City

2. C-5 Road (SB), before Kalayaan, below Elev. U-Turn Slot (Truck Lane), Makati City

3. EDSA (NB), after Kalayaan Flyover (3rd lane from bike lane), Makati City

4. C-5 Road (SB), in front of Petron, Makati City

5. Mindanao Ave. (NB) underpass (Outer Lane), Quezon City

6. A. Bonifacio Ave. (NB), corner Sgt. Rivera St., (3rd lane from sidewalk), Quezon City

7. A. Bonifacio Ave. (SB), Cloverleaf to 11th Ave. (1st lane from sidewalk), Quezon City

8. G. Araneta Ave., Sto. Domingo Ave. to Mauban St., (2nd lane from sidewalk), Quezon City

9. Commonwealth Ave. (NB), Ilang-Ilang St., to Sandiganbayan, (1st lane sidewalk) and Sandiganbayan to Kristong Hari, (2nd lane from sidewalk), Quezon City

10. Commonwealth Ave. (NB), Diliman Doctors Hospital to Zuzuaregui Street, (3rd lane & 4th lane from center), Quezon City

11. Aurora Blvd. Eastbound, before Gilmore Avenue (1st lane from sidewalk), Quezon City

12. C-5 Road (SB), after Magsaysay Ave., near U-Turn Slot, Quezon City

13. C-5 Road (SB), after C-5 and Ayala Heights Intersection

14. C-5 Road (SB), after Magsaysay Ave., Quezon City

15. EDSA (NB), Mahal Kita Hotel to Taft Avenue (Bus lane), Pasay City

16. Mc Arthur Highway (SB) (S02152LZ) - K0010 + (-186) to K0010 + (-078), Malabon City

17. C-3 Road North Bay (NB), infront of Navotas Motorpool & Intersection, infront of Unioil Gasoline Station(Truck lane), Caloocan City

18. C-3 Road Eastbound, between P. Sevilla St., and F. Roxas St., (2nd lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City

19. C-3 Road Eastbound between 4th St., and Dao St., (2nd lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City

20. EDSA (NB), between Gen. De Jesus St., & Gen. Tirona St., (4th lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City

21. Mc Arthur Highway (SB), between Calle Cuatro & Calle Uno (Inner lane), Caloocan City

22. Rizal Ave. Exit (NB), between 1st Ave. and 2nd Ave. (Outer Lane), Caloocan City

23. C-5 Road Doña Julia Vargas intersection near Shell Gasoline Station, along Pasig Blvd. (Westbound) near Universal Robina Corporation, Pasig City
