Fire breaks out on PNR train, put out after 12 minutes


A fire broke out on a Philippine National Railways train at around 4:47 p.m. on Wednesday.

According to a Super Radyo dzBB report by Glen Juego, the fire occurred when the train arrived at the 10th Avenue Station in Barangay 9, Caloocan.

The Bureau of Fire Protection National Capital Region said that the fire reached the first alarm but was declared out after no more than 12 minutes.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
