80-year-old vendor nabbed for slay of parking boy in Marikina


An 80-year-old man was arrested as a suspect in the death of a parking boy in Marikina City.


According to a report by Emil Sumangil on "24 Oras," Reynerio del Rosario had been hiding for a year before he was tracked to Nueva Ecija. Police said Del Rosario killed the victim for allegedly bullying him.

 

“Napag-alaman nila na ito ay merong relatives somewhere in Nueva Ecija,” said Police Brigadier General Wilson Asueta, Eastern Police District Director.

A team from the Marikina PNP traveled to the province where they caught the suspect at a parking lot outside a commercial establishment. Police served the arrest warrant to del Rosario who surrendered without incident.
