QCPD looking at persons of interest in case of beheaded guard in car dealership

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) is currently investigating several persons of interest in the case of the security guard whose headless body was found inside a car dealership in Quezon City on Christmas Day.

According to a DZbb report by Ian Cruz on Tuesday, the QCPD said the lack of signs of a forced entry could mean the crime was either an inside job or committed by someone that was known to the victim, 50-year old Afredo Tabing.

Investigators said they are still looking for Tabing’s head. His cellphone was also reported missing.

The QCPD Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit said it is currently attempting to acquire CCTV footage of the incident.

Police theorized Tabing may have been rendered unconscious via a chemical or he sustained a head injury before he was decapitated.

While there is still no clear motive, the police said that the crime required about 2 to 3 people who may have had a personal vendetta against the victim.
