Metro Manila LGUs extend assistance to Holy Week travelers


Several local government units in Metro Manila have extended support to motorists who have experienced various emergencies during Holy Week. 

The Roadside Emergency Assistance in the City of Taguig (REACT), led by the LGU's Traffic Management Office and Mobility Office, had assisted 969 motorists as of March 25. 

The REACT program offers free services such as flat tire replacement, minor mechanical repairs and adjustments, battery jump-starting, towing within the Taguig area, vehicle refueling, and transport to the closest workshops or gas stations.

In Caloocan City, the local government unit offered road assistance under its "Alalay sa Manlalakbay'' program. 

Travelers may contact 888-ALONG(25664) for assistance.
