Woman shot at least 10 times inside Tondo home

A woman died after being shot no less than ten times inside her home in Tondo, Manila.

According to a 24 Oras report by Jhomer Apresto on Thursday, CCTV footage on Wednesday night showed residents rushing the victim across a covered court in Barangay 155, Tondo.

The victim’s mother said her daughter was shot several times by an unidentified gunman inside her home.

“Nagsasandok yung anak ko doon, syempre dun sa gawi dun no. Bumili ng sigarilyo yun, yung bumaril. Bumili sigarilyo, siya nag abot ngayon. Yung anak ko syempre kakain na, ito yung la mesa nila dito sa tabing pinto. Ayun, niratratan na,” said the victim’s mother.

(My daughter was preparing food over there. Her killer bought a cigarette, she was even the one who handed it to him. My daughter was about to eat at the table near the door. Then, he shot her several times.)

Police found no less than ten bullet casings were found in the crime scene.

The victim succumbed to her injuries on the way to the hospital.

According to her mother, the victim had no known enemies before the incident.

“Napakabait ng anak ko, walang ginagawa sa inyong masama kahit kanino. Baka nagkamali lang kayo ng pinatay,” she said.

(My daughter was a good person, and she didn’t do anything bad to anyone. They might have killed the wrong person.)

Initial police investigation revealed that the suspect fled onboard a motorcycle towards Abad Santos Avenue.
