Parts of Quezon City, Taytay to experience power interruptions on May 20, 21

Parts of Quezon City and Taytay, Rizal will experience power interruptions on May 20 and 21 due to scheduled maintenance activities in their areas.

In an advisory posted on its website, Manila Electric Company (Meralco) said there will be line reconductoring works and replacement of facilities along Sto. Niño, San Antonio, and Capillan Streets in Barangay San Antonio, Quezon City.

The affected areas between 11 p.m., Monday, May 20, and 5 a.m., Tuesday, May 21 are:

• Portion of Sto. Niño Street from Fernando Poe Jr. Ave. to Capillan Street
• Portion of San Antonio Street from San Jose Street to Piopongco Street
• Portion of Capillan Street. from Sto. Niño Street to Santiago Street

It will also be conducting line reconductoring works along Basilica Street near Manila East Road (Taytay – Angono National Highway) in Barangay Muzon, Taytay, Rizal on May 21.

The affected areas between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. are:

• Portion of Basilica Street from Manila East Road (Taytay – Angono National Highway) to Milan Street in San Francisco Village, Barangay Muzon
• Portion of Siena Street from Basilica Street to Roma Street in San Francisco Village, Barangay Muzon
• Along Bologna Street from Serdena Street to Capri Street in San Francisco Village, Barangay Muzon
• Portion of Serdena Street from Bologna Street to and including Sardinia Street in San Francisco Village; and Sitio Sabutan in Barangay Muzon
• Along Florence and Venice Streets from Serdena Street to and including Milan and Asissi Streets and Javier Compound in San Francisco Village, Barangay Muzon.
