Cyclist killed after being hit by 10-wheeler truck in Manila

A cyclist died after he was hit by a 10-wheeler truck at the corner of Roxas Boulevard and Katigbak Parkway in Manila on Tuesday afternoon. 

According to a SuperRadyo DZBB report, the victim was on his way home in Port Area from work when the accident happened. 

The Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) said the respondents found the victim lying on the ground and already had no pulse. 

The victim’s age is estimated to be between 30 to 40 years old. 

A kin has already identified the victim. 

The truck driver is now under the custody of the Manila Traffic Bureau. 

The MDRRMO is still finding out how the victim was hit by the truck and will check footage from nearby CCTV for clearer details of the accident. —Vince Angelo Ferreras/ VAL, GMA Integrated News
