Power interruptions in Ermita, Taguig, Bulacan, Quezon, Laguna, Cavite on June 23

Parts of Ermita and Taguig in Metro Manila, Santa Maria in Bulacan, Tiaong in Quezon, Biñan in Laguna, and Carmona in Cavite will experience power service interruptions on June 23 due to scheduled maintenance activities.

In an advisory posted on its website, Manila Electric Company (Meralco) said it will be conducting replacement of poles, line reconductoring, and reconstruction works along Jorge Bocobo, Engracia Reyes, Padre Faura, Adriatico and Antonio Flores Streets in Ermita, Manila.

Affected between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. and then between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. are:

• Portion of United Nations Avenue from near A. Mabini Street to Abenida Maria Orosa Street.
• Portion of San Carlos Street from United Nations Avenue to Kalaw Avenue.
• Portion of Churucca Street from United Nations Avenue to near Kalaw Avenue.
• Portion of Kalaw Avenue from Abenida Maria Orosa Street to Gen. Luna Street.
• Portion of Padre Faura Street from Abenida Maria Orosa Street to Leon Guinto Street.
• Portion of Taft Avenue from near Padre Faura Street to near Apacible Street.

Affected between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. are:

• Portion of Jorge Bocobo Street from United Nations Avenue to Padre Faura Street.
• Portion of Arquiza Street from Grey Street to Jorge Bocobo Street.
• Portion of Grey Street from near Antonio Flores Street to Arquiza Street.
• Portion of Padre Faura Street to Adriatico Street to Leon Guinto Street.
• Portion of Adriatico Street from Padre Faura Street to Pedro Gil Street.
• Portion of Pedro Gil Street from Adriatico Street to L. M. Guerroro Street.
• Portion of Engracia Reyes Street from Jorge Bocobo Street to Abenida Maria Orosa Street.
• Portion of Abenida Maria Orosa Street from Padre Faura Street to United Nations Avenue.

There will also be line reconstruction works in Blocks 33 and 34 in Enlisted Personnel Village 1, Barangay Western Bicutan, Taguig City.

Affected between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. are:

• Portion of Enlisted Personnel Village 1 and SSB De Ville Subdivision; Eucalyptus, Kakawati, LRT, Manggahan, Sampaguita, and Sampaloc Streets in Sto. Niño; and Kalachuchi Street.

Meralco will be conducting line reconductoring works along Kaybitin Road in Barangay San Gabriel, Sta. Maria, Bulacan.

Affected between 12:01 am and 5 a.m. are:

• Portion of Kaybitin Road from Gov. Fortunato Halili Road to Camangyanan Road including Camangyanan Elementary School; Purok Looban, Sampalucan, Ibayo, Ligtasin, Salvador, D. Miguel, Porciuncula, and Matias Streets in Barangays San Gabriel and Camangyanan.

There will also be installation and retirement of facilities along Maharlika Highway in Barangays Lumingon, Lusacan, and Talisay in Tiaong, Quezon Province.

Affected between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. are:

• Portion of Maharlika Highway from Caltex Gas Station to and including Sitio Villa Juanita, Abenina Subdivision, Adamber Subdivision, Alvarez Village, Del Garces Subdivision, Gardenville Subdivision, Sitio Mhujarleca, Sitio Villa Marasigan, Sitio Villanosa (Old Gardenvill), Sitio Villarosa, and Villa Consolacion Village; Adamber, Maligaya, Pitong-Gatang, and Versatile Streets in Barangays Lumingon, Lusacan, Palagaran, and Talisay.

Meralco will be conducting line reconstruction works in Barangay San Francisco, Biñan City, Laguna; and Barangay Mabuhay, Carmona City, Cavite.

Affected between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.:

• Portion of Silcas Village in Barangay San Francisco, Biñan City, Laguna.

Affected between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.:

• Portion of J. M. Loyola Street near Juanito Remulla Sr. Road (Governor's Drive) in Barangay Mabuhay, Carmona City, Cavite.
