Power interruptions in parts of NCR, Bulacan, Laguna, Batangas, Cavite on Aug. 6-10

Parts of Muntinlupa, Paranaque, and Caloocan; Pulilan, Bulacan; Sta. Cruz, Laguna; Batangas City, Batangas; Sta. Rosa, Laguna; and Bacoor, Cavite will experience power service interruptions from August 6 to 10 due to scheduled maintenance activities.

In advisories posted on its website, Manila Electric Company (Meralco) said there will be installation of poles, retirement of facilities, and line reconstruction works along Pulilan Regional Road in Bgy. Cutcot, Pulilan, Bulacan from August 6 to 7.

Affected between 11 p.m., Tuesday, August 6, and 3 a.m., Wednesday, August 7 are:

• Portion of Market Road from Pulilan Regional Road to and including Villa Priscilla Subd.; and Pulilan Public Market in Bgy. Cutcot.

It will be conducting line maintenance works along Philippine National Railways (PNR) Railroad Track in Bgy. Alabang, Muntinlupa City on August 7.

Affected between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. are:

• Portion of Philippine National Railways (PNR) Railroad Track from Montillano St. to and including Cabezas Compound, Estehonor Compound, Joaquin Compound, Kelly Compound, Mariategue Compound, Mariategue Maharlika Compound, Pinagpalang Mariategue Compound, Fabian Compound, Bautista Compound, Arevalo Compound, Garcip Compound, Nofuente Compound, Eliseo Compound, Killey Compound and Purok 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 8; Daisy, Ilaya, Montillano, Mendiola, Mendiola Ext., Wawa, Arevalo, Geremillo, Pres. There will be preventive maintenance and testing works inside Meralco - Sta. Cruz substation from August 7 to 8.

Affected between 11:45 p.m. and 11:59 p.m., Wednesday, August 7, and then 6:00 a.m. and 6:15 a.m., Thursday, August 8, are:  

• Portion of P. Guevarra Ave. from Meralco – Sta. Cruz substation in Bgy. Pagsawitan to and including Bgys. Santisima Cruz, Umboy, Calios, Pagsawitan, San Pablo Sur, Sto. Angel Central, Sto. Angel Norte, Sto. Angel Sur and Town Proper.

Replacement and installation of facilities, and line reconductoring works will be conducted along Macabling Road in Bgy. Macabling, Sta. Rosa City, Laguna from August 8 to 9.
