Fire hits residential area in Baclaran
A fire hit a residential area in Baclaran, Parañaque City on Saturday morning.
The affected area is at the corner of Mactan and Opena Streets, just beside the National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help or Baclaran Church, according to a report by Mao dela Cruz on Super Radyo dzBB.
The fire started at past 9 a.m. at a row of houses made of light materials.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) raised the first alarm.
Firemen were able to put out the fire at 10:02 a.m.
No one was hurt in the incident.
Arson investigators are still conducting a probe to determine the cause of the fire.
The BFP said five families or 15 individuals were affected by the fire, according to a report by Sam Nielsen on Super Radyo dzBB.

It also said that four houses were damaged in the fire that started from a three-storey structure.
Estimated cost of damage to property is P50,000. —KG, GMA Integrated News
