Artes noted that buses coming from the north may reach up to Cubao area only, while those coming from the south may reach up to the Pasay area only.
Meanwhile, the Philippine National Police (PNP) on Thursday said more security measures are in place to address possible crimes and expected crowding in terminals during the period of summer vacation including the Holy Week.
Police assistance desks will be set up strategically in transport hubs, tourist spots, and major event venues to provide immediate response to the public, the PNP said.
To prevent crimes, the PNP said law enforcement operations will be intensified as well as the security inspections and intelligence monitoring on critical infrastructures, transport terminals, and churches.
Road safety measures will be enforced strictly to ease congestion and prevent vehicular accidents with the help of traffic management agencies. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
