Lani Cayetano enjoys wide lead in Taguig City mayoral race in Eleksyon 2025

Lani Cayetano is expected to continue serving as mayor of Taguig City based on the partial and unofficial count by the Commission on Elections. 

As of 10:14 p.m., Cayetano garnered 403,337 votes. Trailing her are opponents Arnel Cerafica with 102,836 votes, and Brigido Licudine with 6,304. 

Meanwhile, Arvin Ian Alit is set to win the vice mayoral race with 330,783 votes. He was followed by Janella Cerafica with 133,193 votes and Nelly Tanglao with 15,491 votes. 

On the other hand, former Taguig Mayor Lino Cayetano (67,703)  trailed behind Ading Cruz (100,982) in the race as Patero's Lone District representative in the House of Representatives. —Vince Angelo Ferreras/RF, GMA Integrated News
