Marikina LGU reports break-in incident at office building

The Marikina City government on Monday reported an incident of attempted theft in its Office of Senior Citizens Affair (OSCA) building. 

Mayor-elect Maan Teodoro said that the incident could affect some of the city’s services for the meantime. 

“Malungkot nating ibinabahagi na nagkaroon ng forced entry at attempted theft sa ating District Office sa OSCA Building,” she said in a statement posted on Facebook. 

(We regret to share that there was a forced entry and attempted theft at our District Office in the OSCA Building.) 

“Dahil dito, maaring magdulot ng pansamantalang pagkaantala ang ilan sa ating serbisyo. Humihingi po kami ng inyong pang-unawa sa anumang abalang maaring idulot nito,” she added. 

(As a result, some of our services may experience temporary disruptions. We ask for your understanding for any inconvenience this may cause.) 

Tedoro said that they are currently addressing the situation for everyone’s safety.
