Malabon residents ride wooden cart to cross flood
When flood waters rose, so did the resourcefulness of some folks in Malabon City.
Some of the city residents have found a way to cross flooded streets: by boarding a kariton or wooden cart pushed by enterprising men.
According a series of posts by Super Radyo dzBB reporter Luisito Santos on Thursday, patrons pay P20 each for their kartion fare.

Flooding was reportedly caused by a high tide.
Meanwhile, some residents also experienced car trouble along the Rizal Avenue Extension.

Also on Thursday morning, weather service PAGASA released thunderstorm advisories over Metro Manila, and four other areas in Luzon.
Affected residents were advised to take precautionary measures against landslides and possible flash floods.
Meanwhile, three low pressure areas were being observed inside and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. — Jiselle Anne C. Casucian/ VDV, GMA Integrated News
