Landslide reported in Barangay Bagong Silangan, QC

A landslide was reported in Barangay Bagong Silangan, Quezon City early Wednesday morning, according to a report of GMA Integrated News’ James Agustin on Unang Balita.

The landslide occurred on Don Vicente Street before 6 a.m. 

Almost half of the ground of a house collapsed but its occupants were safe. 

Soil and bamboo slid down and blocked the road, causing traffic for motorists and residents coming from Sitio Veterans, IBP Road, and J.P. Rizal. Heavy traffic has been observed for two hours.

A stop and go traffic scheme was being implemented in the area. 

Authorities and concerned residents were already clearing the affected road from debris.
