FL Liza distributes 'charitimba' to residents affected by bad weather

First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos distributed ‘charitimba’ food packs to the residents of Legarda in Manila who were affected by the bad weather.

First Lady Louise ''Liza'' Araneta-Marcos, with the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), distributed ‘charitimba’ food packs to the residents of Legarda in Manila who were affected by bad weather

Each charitimba pack includes ready-to-eat meals, canned goods, three kilograms of rice, and other essentials.

PCSO general manager Mel Robles and Philippine National Police chief Police General Nicolas Torre III accompanied the First Lady during the distribution on Tuesday, July 22.

Manila was among the areas hit by the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat, causing floods and forcing the evacuation of some residents.

The residents, who were visited by the First Lady, were also victims of a fire that reached a third alarm earlier this month. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
