Lawyer reaches courthouse via pushcart amid Metro floods

A lawyer from the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) has been spotted riding a pushcart through floodwaters along Antonio Villegas Street in Manila on Friday morning, August 22, to make it in time for a court hearing.

In a video circulating on social media, the lawyer can be seen smiling as he braved the high waters and said, “Para sa bayan!” (“For the country!”).
