Protesters wearing masks not violating laws, says NCRPO
Protesters who choose to wear masks are not violating any laws, according to the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).
In Mark Makalalad’s report Saturday morning on Super Radyo dzBB, several protesters have begun to hide their identities during anti-corruption rallies related to anomalous flood control projects between government officials and contractors.

Philippine National Police Public Information Office (PNP-PIO) head Police Brigadier General Randulf Tuaño that based on Batas Pambansa 880, what is prohibited are the carrying weapons, sharp objects and vandalism during the said activities.
This announcement came after several protest actions have begun last week. There are a number of rallies this weekend as well as an upcoming mass rally on September 21 in Manila.
Tuaño said the police respect the grievances being presented by the public and authorities have been instructed to observe maximum tolerance. — RF, GMA Integrated News
