SHOP ROBBED 3 TIMES

Cellphone of sleeping printing shop worker stolen in Manila

The cellphone of a printing shop worker in Manila was stolen after he fell asleep while on duty.

According to Jhomer Apresto’s report in “Balitanghali” on Tuesday, CCTV footage showed that a woman stopped at a printing shop at Blumentritt Street in Manila. She was seen observing her surroundings before suddenly getting her hands on the cellphone of the then sleeping employee.

The owner of the printing shop said the victim is his nephew who fell asleep while watching a  K-drama program.

“Yung mga tricycle dito, nakita na nila, napansin nila, akala nila customer lang, “ said RJ Alipat, the owner of the printing shop.

(The tricycle drivers already saw the woman, but they thought she was just a customer.)

This is already the third time that his workers at the printing shop were robbed of their cell phones.

The owner also said he lost P15,000 after his coin bank was stolen from the shop in the past.

The barangay said that the suspect in the latest incident is not a resident in their area. They added they will conduct an investigation to identify her, the report said. —Vince Angelo Ferreras/RF, GMA Integrated News
