Police officer helps woman deliver baby on sidewalk in Taguig City

A police officer helped a woman deliver her baby on a sidewalk in Taguig City.

According to a report on “24 Oras Weekend” on Sunday, the woman was on her way to a hospital to give birth, but went into labor upon arriving at a plaza.

When the police officer responded, the baby’s head was already crowning. Despite having no prior experience in childbirth, he assisted in delivering the baby.

The officer then brought the mother and her newborn to a nearby lying-in clinic aboard a tricycle after the police mobile was delayed by traffic.—Vince Angelo Ferreras/MCG, GMA Integrated
