2 fire incidents reported in Taguig City on Wednesday, May 6, 2026

Two separate fires hit residential areas in Barangay Lower Bicutan and Barangay Bagumbayan in Taguig City on Wednesday.

Three people died in the fire that hit a resident area in Barangay Lower Bicutan, Taguig City on Wednesday afternoon, according to a report on "Saksi."

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), a couple, who are senior citizens, and a man died in the fire while seven people were injured.

The fire started a few minutes after 4 p.m. and was put out by 6 p.m.

Authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident.

Meanwhile, a fire broke out in a residential area in Barangay Bagumbayan in Taguig City on Wednesday evening, according to the video of YouScooper Florida Moreno.

Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) personnel are working to put the fire, which was reported after 9:30 p.m., that hit residents in Paso Hills under control.

According to BFP personnel, as of 10:11 p.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2026, the fire was declared under third alarm. — BAP, GMA News
