Fire hits residential area in Parañaque City, reaches Task Force Alpha
A fire hit a residential area in Lower Barangay, San Antonio in Parañaque City late Wednesday evening.
The fire incident was captured on video by YouScooper Sean Chua.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire has been declared at fourth alarm as of 12:23 a.m. Thursday.
The BFP has declared that by 1:18 a.m., the fire is at fifth alarm.
As of 2:36 a.m., the fire has reached Task Force Alpha alarm that indicates a serious, escalating blaze requiring around 24 fire trucks to combat the fire.
The fire started about a few minutes after 11 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.
The BFP personnel are still orking to put the fire under control as of posting.
According to the BFP-National Capital Region, the blaze was declared under control at 5:50 a.m. on Thursday.— BAP/VAL, GMA News
