MRT-3 to offer free rides in select hours on Independence Day, June 12, 2026

The Department of Transportation-Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (DOTr-MRT-3) on Friday announced it will offer free rides for the commuting public during select hours of Independence Day.

In an advisory, the DOTr-MRT-3 said commuters can avail of free rides from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on June 12, 2026.

The free rides initiative is in observance of the country’s 128th Independence Day.
