Fire hits workers' barracks at Batasang Pambansa compound

A fire broke out at the workers' barracks at the Batasang Pambansa compound in Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City on Sunday morning.

The incident occurred at 9:42 a.m. and was immediately extinguished, the Quezon City Fire District said.

According to the report of Super Radyo dzBB's Carlo Mateo, the barracks, located far from the House of Representatives' main building, was made of light materials.

No one was reportedly hurt from the fire that only reached first alarm.
