Who is prosecution counsel James Bryan Ibrahim Alih?
Lawyer James Bryan Ibrahim Alih conducted the direct examination of witness Karen Batu for the prosecution on Tuesday, the 25th day of Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment trial.
One of the private lawyers joining the panel of House prosecutors, Alih is a senior associate of Pecabar Law, the law firm formerly known as Ponce Enrile Reyes & Manalastas and founded by the late former senator Juan Ponce Enrile.
Alih received his Juris Doctor degree from San Beda University College of Law in 2019 and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2020.
Earlier, he received his Bachelor of Secondary Education degree from Western Mindanao State University in 2014.
In 2021, Alih completed an Executive Program on Clinical Legal Education from Vermont Law and Graduate School.
