Lawmaker rushed to hospital due to vertigo


QUEZON CITY, Philippines - A lawmaker was rushed to a government hospital Tuesday after experiencing dizziness during the House’s afternoon session. Radio dzBB reported Wednesday that Sorsogon Rep. Jose Solis, 68, was rushed to the Philippine Heart Center after complaining of dizziness. Solis, a member of President Arroyo's Kabalikat ng Malayang Pilipino (Kampi) party, is one of Malacañang's allies in the Lower House. The report said Solis had not been feeling well the past few days but insisted on attending Tuesday's session. During the session, the lawmaker complained he was dizzy. He was then brought to the Lower House clinic, where doctors recommended that he be brought to the Philippine Heart Center in Quezon City. - GMANews.TV
