Globe Tel cuts IDD rate for landline to P2.50/minute

Innove Communications, Inc., the fixed-line unit of Globe Telecom, said on Wednesday it has cut its international direct distance (IDD) rate to P2.50 per minute from P4.50 to five destinations. Globelines Marketing Head Jose Antonio T. Mapa, Jr. said this will allow its subscribers to enjoy longer calls abroad to the USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia. IDD rates to China, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand remain at P4.50 per minute. Innove's P2.50 per minute rate is so far the lowest IDD fee in the country. - GMANews.TV
