Filipino maid suspected of poisoning 3 Kuwaiti kids

A Filipino maid working in Kuwait is suspected of having poisoned her employer’s three children, the Arab Times newspaper reported Thursday. The children survived and were rushed to Mubarak Al-Kabir hospital in the Middle East nation’s capital of Kuwait City. The Filipino woman, whose name not disclosed by authorities, denied the allegation during a police interrogation. Based on the complaint filed by her Kuwaiti employer, she was accused of having given the children juice laced with poison. A hospital report said the three Kuwait children had ingested an unnamed toxic chemical substance. Kuwaiti police are still awaiting investigators' official report before filing charges against the Filipino maid. Her employer said when that upon his return home, he saw his children suffering from stomach cramps, half an hour after drinking the juice, and on the verge of fainting. -GMANews.TV
