Salvage victim found in Manila’s Tondo district

MANILA, Philippines - Another victim of summary execution, supposedly a suspected mugger preying on passersby, was found dead in Manila's Tondo district before dawn Thursday. Radio dzBB's Allan Gatus reported that the body was found on New Antipolo Street near Jose Abad Santos Street in Tondo. "Holdaper ako, huwag ninyo ako tularan (I'm a mugger, don't follow my example)," read a sign found near the body. Police investigators said the victim had slash wound in the neck and other injuries showing he was stabbed elsewhere before being dumped on the spot where his body was found.
