Bangon Pilipinas members troop to Fort Bonifacio
Members of Bangon Pilipinas trooped to Fort Bonifacio in Makati where a standoff is ongoing among members of the Philippine Marines. Lawyer Ted Pascua, counsel of Bangon Pilipinas, said the group will hold a vigil in front of the military camp to ââ¬Åprevent bloodshed." ââ¬ÅWe are here to be peacemakers. We want to prevent bloodshed from happening," Pascua said. Bangon Pilipinas is headed by Bro. Eddie Villanueva of the Jesus is Lord Fellowship. A source close to Villanueva confirmed that some members of Bangon Pilipinas asked permission from the JIL founder to go to Fort Bonifacio. ââ¬ÅThey were told to decide on their own, but most of the members were asked to go to JIL churches and pray," the source said in a text message. Villanueva, a former presidential aspirant, is a known critic of President Arroyo. - GMANews.TV
