Fire at PLM campus under control; no casualty reported

MANILA, Philippines - A fire of still undetermined origin broke out at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila campus in Intramuros, Manila, radio dzBB reported on Saturday. The students vacated the area when the blaze hit the stockroom of the university near the Ilustrado restaurant on General Luna Street, according to the report. The fire had reached the fifth alarm, dzBB said. In another report minutes before noon, Manila fire marshal Sr. Supt. Pablito Cordeta told dzBB that the fire had been contained, and that there were no reported casualty in the incident. - GMANews.TV
