Youth offenders escape from DSWD Navotas

MANILA, Philippines - Taking advantage of the cool, rainy weather, several youth offenders bolted the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) detention facility in Navotas City Wednesday night. Radio dzBB reported early Thursday the incident occurred between 10 and 11 p.m. at the DSWD Navotas City, with the offenders aged 18 and below. An investigation is now ongoing into how DSWD personnel on duty at the time allowed the escape. - GMANews.TV
