Governor's security aide killed in Laguna ambush

Unidentified men gunned down a security escort of Laguna Gov. Teresita Lazaro during a Monday morning ambush in Bay town, GMA 7's DZBB reported. Senior Superintendent Luisito de Leon, police provincial director, identified the victim as Bonifacio Villagracia, 29, of the Laguna Traffic Management Office. Villagracia was travelling on board a motorcycle to Lazaro's office at about 7:15 a.m. when the assailants struck, De Leon told GMA 7's DZBB. The victim sustained four gunshot wounds, according to reports reaching Camp Vicente Lim police headquarters in Calamba, Laguna.-GMANews.TV
