Police colonel arrested for ‘prostitution racket’ - report

MANILA, Philippines - A police colonel and a suspected pimp were arrested Tuesday over their alleged links to human trafficking and prostitution syndicates in Antipolo City. Radio dzBB reported Tuesday that police arrested Supt. Miguel Tolentino and one Roma Fernando after they went inside a lodge along Sumulong Highway in Mayamot village in Antipolo City. Initial police reports indicated the arrests stemmed from complaints of parents of female minors who claimed Tolentino and Fernando forced their children into prostitution. The report said Tolentino is assigned to the finance department of the Metro Manila Police. - GMANews.TV
