Outgoing PNP chief starts farewell visits


MANILA, Philippines - With barely a week to go before he leaves the service, outgoing Philippine National Police chief Dir. Gen. Avelino Razon Jr. has started his farewell visits to police camps nationwide. Radio dzBB's Benjie Liwanag Jr. reported Friday that Razon has also started clearing his things from the “White House," the official residence of the PNP chief at Camp Crame. Turning 56 years old on Sept. 27, the police chief had scheduled his trips to various headquarters particularly in Mindanao, where police are helping track down rogue Moro Islamic Liberation Front commanders. Among Razon's first stops in his farewell tour are Davao, Lanao del Norte and North Cotabato, along with Cebu, the report said. - GMANews.TV
