Akyat Bahay gang strikes anew in Pasig City

MANILA, Philippines - After victimizing a resident last All Saints’ weekend, the Akyat Bahay burglary gang struck again in Pasig City, this time victimizing an engineer of P50,000 in valuables. In a report Tuesday by Radio dzBB's Sam Nielsen said the latest victim, engineer Rolando Biado, reported losing some P50,000 in cash and jewelry to the robbers. Biado said the incident occurred at his house in Caniogan village, adding he found something was wrong when he saw the padlock of his door destroyed. He said that when he entered the house, it was in disarray. Earlier, resident Danilo San Juan of Pasig City told police unidentified burglars broke into his house by entering a window at the second floor. He said the burglars took off with some P70,000 in valuables and cash. - GMANews.TV
