Palace exec goes to St Luke's, buys cough capsules - report


MANILA, Philippines - A Malacañang official on Monday reportedly went to St. Lukes Medical Center, where former Agriculture undersecretary Jocelyn “Joc-joc" Bolante, the alleged mastermind in the P728 fertilizer fund scam, is staying--- purportedly to buy four capsules of medicine for cough. A radio report said Presidential Deputy spokesperson Anthony Golez went to SLMC at about 5:30 p.m. allegedly to buy four capsules of Tuseran forte. Golez’s stay roughly took 15 minutes, the report added Golez, who lives in New Manila, Quezon City, was quoted as saying that he decided to buy his medicine in St. Lukes because he resides near the hospital. He also explained that he would need the medicine since he would accompany President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo in her trip to the United States.
