Woman found dead inside Pasay motel

MANILA, Philippines - Police in Pasay City are now looking into the death of a woman whose body was found hanging inside a motel room in Pasay City Friday morning. Radio dzBB's Denver Trinidad reported that the woman, identified through an ID card as Evangeline Sol-Cruz, 55, was found inside a bathroom in the motel's Room 417. "Sa ngayon wala tayong nakitang foul play. Merong suicide note na nakita. Humihingi ng patawad ang victim. May pangalan siyang binanggit doon (For now we see no foul play. There was a suicide note, where the victim asked forgiveness)," SPO1 Joel Landicho said. Landicho said a roomboy found the victim's body at 8:30 a.m. Initial investigation showed the woman, a resident of Parañaque City, checked in at the motel by herself Thursday night. - GMANews.TV
