Predawn fire hits Baclaran mall

MANILA, Philippines - Fire believed caused by an electrical short circuit hit a mall in Baclaran in southern Metro Manila before dawn Wednesday. Radio dzBB's Louie Garcia reported that no one was reported injured in the fire that hit the Baclaran Super Mall along Taft Avenue Extension. The fire started past 3 a.m. at the third floor of the building, sending some stallowners into a panic and trying to save their merchandise. However, responding firefighters quickly put out the fire, calming down the stallowners.- GMANews.TV
