2 killed in Pasig fire - TV report

MANILA, Philippines - Two people, including a four-year-old kid, died in a fire that gutted a residence in Pasig City on Tuesday morning. GMA’s Flash Report said the still unidentified child and an 18-year-old sibling were inside their residence along Moscow Street in Greenpark village in Manggahan when the blaze occurred. Fire authorities cited initial investigation as showing the two victims were alone in their house when the fire – still of undetermined origin - happened. The television report said the victims’ father had gone out to accompany his wife to work, leaving the two behind. Firefighters declared a fire out before 9 a.m. - Mark Merueñas, GMANews.TV
