Fetus left near Manila’s Quiapo Church

MANILA, Philippines - Police are searching for the mother who abandoned a three-month-old fetus near the Quiapo Church in Plaza Miranda in the city. Radio dzBB's Louie Garcia reported that a young street sweeper found the fetus placed inside a blue container and left along Quezon Boulevard near Mercury Drug before dawn Wednesday. The street sweeper turned the fetus over to police at a nearby police precinct, who in turn called in a priest to baptize and bless the fetus. - GMANews.TV
